Five days of intermediate training in equine dentistry and surgery at EVDS, South Grafton, NSW.

Over these five days you will participate in 14 hours of lectures and 26 hours of practical sessions.

Lectures will cover a brief revision of Level 1 topics, followed by lectures and practical sessions in:

Oral examination - being sure you are not missing too much!
Periodontal disease including diastema burring, cleaning, and packing pockets
Anaesthesia and nerve blocking
Incisor extractions
Wiring of incisor luxation fractures
Maximising success in extraction of cheek teeth and what to do if things go wrong;

- Case selection and knowing when to refer.

Practical oroscopy including intro-oral instrument handling
Radiology and radiography in lectures and in real cases

Completing the Level 2 Revision/Intermediate Workshop satisﬁes the enrolment criteria to attend Level 3 Advanced Equine Dentistry.

Attendees are entitled to a massive 20% off stainless steel dental instruments, and 5% off PowerFloat and Terafloat products.
