Set of 2 – Reciprocating periotome blades are composed of flexible stainless steel.
Blades are 1mm in thickness and come in 1 1/2 inch (38mm) and 1 3/4 inch (44mm) lengths.
Blades are inserted into the collet of the reciprocating periotome attachment and secured with a set screw. Set screws and the corresponding hex key for tightening are included with the blades sets.
 
Hand sharpening of flexible blades for each procedure is necessary for maximum cutting efficiency of the periodontal ligament space.
