Non-vital Pulp exposures in teeth are not uncommon & this pulp explorer is ideal for diagnosing them.

Whilst some pulp exposures may be obvious and visible , especially if vital (bleeding), many are not, requiring rubbing the pulp explorer tip over the dark dentine to see if it catches.

If it does, then x-ray of the tooth is often indicated.

Suitable for incisors, canines and cheek teeth, this instrument is an essential instrument for the astute equine dental vet.

Total length is 16 inches (40.6cm).

Comes with a 5-year warranty.
